Weather for the Port / Buckeye Lake Region:
The
Port Lounge and Smokehouse is one of best spots on Buckeye Lake to eat,
drink, and enjoy great entertainment. People come from the entire
tri-state region for the great smokehouse fare. We are accessible from
the lake by way of the Thornport Channel at the far eastern end of the
lake. Since we are tucked away off the main lake, you don't have to
worry about your boat banging against the docks because the water is
choppy. In addition, the channel was dredged last year, which allows
for better access. If coming by land, we are 2 miles south of I-70 and
1/4 mile west of the Rt 13-Honeycreek Rd intersection. A summary of our
entertainment is as follows:
Wednesdays have Reid Coleman leading the Open Jam Night featuring some of the area's finest musicians.
Thursdays are a hit with Big Daddy's DJ & Karaoke , providing a wide variety of music for singers to practice their skills.
Fridays and Saturdays feature live entertainment, whether it's a band or a DJ (click on the 'Events' tab for details). When it's warm, they set up in the beer garden. If inside, the dance floor offers a dance pole that often gets the ladies (and men) fired up!
Sundays showcase solo acts and duos (and an occasional band) in the beer garden.
The Smokehouse is now open. Savor an outstanding smoked and barbecue-style menu. Most meals feature the Smokehouse's famous Beer Bread!
Enjoy the fresh air in the sun, under an umbrella, or inside the smokehouse. In the evening enjoy your dinner or live entertainment under the stars. Everyone looks forward to our nightly campfire.
